equipment that is designed for the inspection of a house and
garage. The course was conducted by several home
inspection equipment supply companies.
THE IMPORTANCE OF CONTINUING
EDUCATION - 05-03-05 - The instructor was a
licensed house and building inspector from the ( ALPHI )
chapter.
PROPER FRAMING - 07-06-04
- The proper framing of different style houses. This course
covered mainly the house and garage.The Instructor was a
framing expert from one of the large lumber supply companies.
HOME INSPECTION SAFETY COURSE -
11-01-05 - This was an excellent course on how to
detect and report safety hazards in the house.The Instructor
was a licensed home inspector from the New jersey
( ALPHI ) chapter.
IN GROUND OIL TANKS - 10-03-06
- The course emphasized the danger of environmental
contamination from leaking in ground oil tanks. The course was
conducted by an environment clean up company.
WATER DAMAGE IN THE HOME 02-09-06
- This course covered how severe water damage happens in the
home, and what has to be done to clean up the house and repair
the water damage. This course was given by a large
environmental clean up company.
FIRE AND SMOKE DAMAGE - 03-07-06
This was a very informative course on the causes of fire in
the house. The course centered on, how to spot and report
safety hazards, and, the severe damage and expense that is
created by a fire in the home. The course was given by a fire
damage restoration company.
HIGH TECH HOMES SEMINAR - 06-01-06
- The course covered: PhotoVoltaics, Ventilation in
Residential Buildings, and Modern Plumbing. The course was
given by experts in the given fields.
THE OLD HOUSE SEMINAR 09-05-06
- This was really a great course on how to inspect historic
homes. Many historic houses covered in the seminar were over
two hundred years old. The course was given by a specialist in
the historic home inspection field.

The course covered the proper installation of windows and
doors in a residential house. The course was given by a
leading manufacture of windows and doors.
AVOID HOME INSPECTION LITIGATION (
ASHI - American Society of Home Inspectors) 05-11-06
- This course covered the proper reporting of a home
inspection. The course was very informative on what to do and
what not to do to avoid unnecessary litigation. The course was
given by a local N J attorney.
CHIMNEY FIRES - CAUSES AND CURES - (NJ - ALPHI) Feb. 1, 2005 -
Instruction to New Jersey home inspector on how to detect
and avoid chimney fires. The course was given by a NJ ALPHI
certified inspector from the Garden State Chapter.
HOME DEFECT - (GS ASHI) - Feb 10, 2005 - Slides and
narration of serious damage discovered in New Jersey homes by
a chapter member / NJ home inspector.

NORTH CAROLINA HOME INSPECTOR LICENSE
( FEBRUARY 2005 ) - This was a two day study course
in Raleigh, North Carolina for the N C home inspector license.
The test was a very extensive test with two hundred questions
that covered all aspects of a home inspection. I passed the
state test and received my North Carolina home inspector
License. The course was conducted by The North Eastern
Carolina Home Services Inc.
NORTH CAROLINA SEMINAR (08-25-06)
- This was a two day continuing education seminar at Raleigh,
North Carolina to complete the educational requirements for
the North Carolina home inspector license. The course centered
on the technical aspects of a home inspection. The course was
conducted by North Eastern Carolina Home Services Ins.
NORTH CAROLINA SEMINAR ( 08-19-06 )
- Again a two day educational seminar at Raleigh, North
Carolina to complete the state educational requirements for
the North Carolina home inspector license. The course centered
